Good to know
How many days do we need in Marrakech?
Three to four nights covers the medina, gardens, and a day escape to Agafay or the Atlas without rushing. With Essaouira added, five to six.
Riad or hotel?
A riad gives you the medina experience: courtyards, rooftops, character. Hotels in Hivernage or the Palmeraie suit families wanting pools and space. We often mix the two.
Is the medina manageable with children?
Yes, with the right riad location and a guide for the first souk visit. We pace family days deliberately.
What's the best season?
March to May and October to December. Summers are hot but workable with the right pacing; winter evenings are cool and atmospheric.
