Morocco suits a honeymoon not because it is romantic in a manufactured sense, but because the country is genuinely beautiful, layered and surprising — qualities best discovered slowly, with someone you want to share them with. This seven-day journey, for two people only, moves between Marrakech, the Agafay Desert and the Atlantic coast at Essaouira: three utterly different Moroccos within a few hours of each other.

The seven days, briefly. Day one: arrival, private airport transfer, your riad, dinner in the courtyard. Day two: Marrakech at your pace — Jardin Majorelle before the crowds, lunch in Guéliz, the medina in the late afternoon with someone who knows where to go. Day three: a private hammam ritual at one of the city's finest wellness addresses; the afternoon entirely yours. Day four: the Agafay — a forty-minute drive to a stone desert of extraordinary stillness, and a private dinner at a desert lodge as the light fades. No other tables, no noise. Day five: a two-and-a-half-hour drive through argan country to Essaouira — whitewashed medina, ocean wind, fresh seafood. Day six: the ramparts, the fishing port, a long lunch, an afternoon to do nothing in particular. Day seven: return to Marrakech and private airport transfer.
