Learning Expeditions

Some delegations do not come to Morocco to see it. They come to look at how something is done here, and to take the method home.

A learning expedition is a study trip with the logistics of a private journey: site visits and working meetings during the day, a house worth resting in at night, and one contact who holds both. We arrange the second part entirely. The first part we build with you.

Who this is for

Institutions, ministries and public agencies; NGOs and their funders; cooperatives and producer organisations; West African delegations coming to study a Moroccan sector — agricultural value chains, cooperative structures, health coverage, tourism organisation.

What we hold, and what we do not

We hold the ground. Transport across the kingdom with private chauffeurs, houses selected for the size and the rhythm of your group, tables booked in the delegation's name and prepaid, a day-by-day briefing with drive times and Maps links, and one contact reachable throughout — in French, English and Arabic.

We do not sell you a programme we have not built with you. The technical content — which institutions you meet, which sites you visit, what you ask them — is defined with your team and, where relevant, with the Moroccan bodies you want to meet. We will tell you plainly which doors we can open and which ones you will need to open yourselves.

How it works

  1. A scoping call. The subject, the delegation, the season, the number of working days against the number of travel days.
  2. A written outline. A realistic route with drive times, what a day looks like, and the parts that still need confirming with third parties.
  3. A costed proposal. Day by day, house by house, once the outline is agreed. Nothing is charged before that.
  4. Operation. We run the logistics; your team runs the content; the delegation only has to be on time.

Timing and cost

These programmes are built over months, not days — allow eight to twelve weeks between the scoping call and departure, longer if visas or institutional agendas are involved. There is no published price: the cost depends on the number of travellers, the season and how much of the programme requires interpretation, transport between regions or private venues. We quote after the outline, not before.

Start with a scoping call — tell us the subject and the season, and we come back with an outline before any figure.
